Remembering the Milestone

Well, the day had to come at some point for my mother to turn 50. My father reached that particular milestone in May. However, I was not at the joyous celebration as I was in Israel connecting with my Jewish roots. For my mother's special day we threw a party. And as all of my family celebrations go, we had more than enough food.
The beautiful, delectable birthday cake was made by my dear friend.
Pretty much everyone loved it and couldn't get enough. My brother and my boss were both raving about it, and they are not generally cake eaters. That is how amazing it was! Please be jealous. You just don't know what you were missing.

Our party was attended by around 30 various miscreants, those miscreants were essentially my own beloved family.

Anyone recognize this sweet move?
My mother was incredibly pleased with the number of people, the food, and the general merry making that occurred during this blessed event.

We had guests on the smaller side as well. Young and older[ish] came to wish my mother the best. She is truly the most wonderful woman in my life. We are grateful for her. The youngest guest is appreciative for my mother as well, as expressed in the picture below.

The happiest of birthdays to you, Mumsy! You are adored and loved by many.
